Since its inception in 1977, over 3,600 engineering students have participated in the IAC/EADC program, representing over 40 colleges and universities across the U.S. Approximately half of our IAC/EADC graduates move on to pursue careers related to energy or energy efficiency.  These graduates are well-known for their expertise in industrial energy efficiency and are in high-demand in the energy-related job market. Many of our graduates stay in touch with their centers and with IAC/EADC program management. Letters, success stories and official DOE-published case studies from our alumni are listed below.

If you are an IAC/EADC member or alumni and would like to share your professional experiences with your peers, please contact Thomas Wenning, the IAC Student Activities Coordinator at, or his assistant, Susie Allen at
